The sign out front has been repainted more times than anyone can count, but the turtle's stayed the same. License plates from every state cover the walls inside, string lights sag a little more every year, and none of that gets fixed because none of it needs to be.
This is a barefoot-and-flip-flops kind of place. Bikers roll in off A1A, locals walk over from the beach, tourists find it by accident and never forget it.
"The Best Dive in Town." It's on the sign, and nobody's arguing.
